dog clip has a variation of hues throughout the curved portion of the clasp, which is likely from a previous repair's solder offering different gold tones

plenty of time-earned patina throughout the details

inconsistent stationing of the filigree links between the trombone chain — I suspect this chain has been reworked more than once, leaving a unique lengths between each filigree link
